My Mission, My Experience
With Del Show Horses, my mission is to provide a safe and encouraging environment for anyone who is looking to gain experience with riding and understanding horses.
I have been riding and working with horses for 11 years now, and I've been teaching students the art of riding for about 4 years. I'm always looking to teach new or returning students everything I know!
Riding Lessons & Other
Beginner Western
$80/hr
*Private Lesson
If you are looking for a steady start with horseback riding, taking a beginner western lesson is best! Consists of basics of riding and handling being taught to student.
Includes grooming & tacking up horse, riding for 30 to 40 minutes, and untacking + putting horse away. 1 hour total
Please be ready to stay about 15 to 20 minutes after your riding lesson. May have student do other things for their horse such as rinse off or turn out after lesson.
Barrel Racing
$85/hr
*Private Lesson
Anyone who wishes to chase 3 cans will have fun taking a barrel lesson! Consists of multiple different exercises to teach rider how to work as a team with their horse to be the fastest out the gate.
Includes grooming & tacking up horse, riding for 30 to 40 minutes, and untacking + putting horse away. 1 hour total
Please be ready to stay about 15 to 20 minutes after your riding lesson. May have student do other things for their horse such as rinse off or turn out after lesson.
Reining
$85/hr
*Private Lesson
For anyone who is interested in doing fun maneuvers, taking a reining lesson is a must! Consists of different exercises to teach rider how to communicate with their horse to achieve those impressive slide stops and spins.
Includes grooming & tacking up horse, riding for 30 to 40 minutes, and untacking + putting horse away. 1 hour total

Hunter Jumper
$85/hr

If you're looking to fly over some jumps and look fancy while doing it, a hunter jumper lesson is what you need! Consists of multiple different exercises to prepare rider for a course of jumps.
Includes grooming & tacking up horse, riding for 30 to 40 minutes, and untacking + putting horse away. 1 hour total

Pony Rides
$30/ 30 min
Pony rides are a great way for the littles to get in the saddle without having to pay the full price of a lesson.
Consists of fun obstacle courses, walk and trot along the arena. The horse will be led for the entirety of the pony ride.
Group Lessons
Example: $150/hr
If you are looking to ride with friends and family, group lessons are a fun option! Currently I can do either English or Western group lessons for 2 riders only.
